  • Call 847-231-6530 for an appointment or email Deb@dejavuresale.biz Appointments last approximately 10-15 minutes.
  • Bring in your gown and/or accessories that are less than 3 years old, clean, pressed and in excellent condition. Déjà vu does not accept all gowns on consignment. To pre-qualify your items please email Deb@dejavuresale.biz a photo of your gown, designer name, size and original price (before sales tax and alterations fees).
  • If you have them, bring the original receipt and/or tags to better help determine a fair sales price. Most gowns will be priced 25-50% off their original price. If you do not have your receipt Déjà vu will determine the price NO EXCEPTIONS! .
  • We will inspect the gown with you during the appointment and if we think we can sell it for you, a contract will be written for your consignment. Consignment pricing is determined by Déjà vu.  There is a one-time $10 account set-up fee due upon consignment. This covers our cost to display your items in the boutique and manage your account.
  • Bring a photo of your gown (from designer’s website or with you in it) that we can photocopy and attach to the gown tag for future brides to view. Or better yet, email a photo to Deb@dejavuresale.biz.
  • Your gown will be displayed in the boutique for one year. If your gown sells, you will receive 50% of the agreed consigned price. Your check will be mailed within 45 days of the sale. If it does not sell, we will notify you to pick up your items within 30 days.
  • If gowns have been boxed or preserved, please pre-qualify the gown before bringing it in for consignment. After pre-qualification, if possible, the gown should be returned to the company that preserved it for opening, inspection and pressing (this is normally included in the preservation cost and the only way the work is guaranteed).
